ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

A Silver Award–winning patio garden escape that transformed a problem-plagued yard — a sinking slab, poor drainage, and failing planting beds — into a symmetrical, resort-like retreat. Set next to an active golf course with limited access and strict regulations, the entire project was completed by hand, with no machinery. The finished design features porcelain pavers with a white oyster-shell look, granite accents, and a stone screen wall, plus a therapy spa thoughtfully concealed to meet HOA guidelines. Corrected drainage, fresh native coastal plantings, and careful symmetry maximize the usable space while keeping everything in step with the community's architectural standards.
