ABOUT THIS PROJECT:

A Bronze Award–winning landscape and pool retreat on a golf-course property, where a custom concrete pool sits as the central focal point framed by balanced, symmetrical plantings on both sides. Eagleston hollies and Sabal palms soften the hardscape, and a cherished multigenerational grapevine was carefully transplanted and preserved. Significant grade changes were resolved with multiple planting beds and irrigation, and front-and-rear plantings were coordinated for a cohesive, naturally established feel. Designed by Tim McAuliffe, The Outdoor Living Designer, and built by Smart Pools — a Bronze NALP Award of Excellence winner. (Companion award to the Ocean Ridge Pool Garden Oasis Gold winner — same property, recognized in both categories.)
